Epicurious app for Windows 8 is my third choice. The app provides a great selections of cooking recipes as anyone would expect with rating, prep time, cooking time and great instructions. You can browse by category right from the main screen, which also seems to update automatically with the calendar, as you see Thanksgiving related categories are the top categories right now. What is also interesting about this app, is that you don’t necessary need to mark food that you like as your favorite, a convenient “Last viewed” section will help to get back to your recent recipes.

Cocktail Flow

Last but not least, how about a drink? Cocktail Flow, as the name implies, is a Windows 8 app that features hundreds of drink recipes. One of the best features about this app is that you can tell Cocktail Flow, what “ingredients” you have and it will suggest all the possible drinks you can make.
