AIM Mail is the web-based email service provided by AOL. The service is free as is an AOL email address. You don’t have to be an AOL member to use AIM Mail. AIM Mail strongly encourages users to email through its own web interface. But you can set up an email client to retrieve and send your AIM Mail messages.
AIM Mail IMAP Settings
Before you set up an email client to use your AIM Mail account, get the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) server settings. If you set up an email client and can’t receive AIM Mail, check the settings.
