According to the study done by International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, the total number of android units shipped worldwide reached 136 million which is 75% of the total Smartphone shipment of 181.1 million units.  The second most shipped are the IOS units accounting for only 14.9% of the total Smartphone shipment.  While Blackberry occupied 3% of the share, the Nokia, Fujitsu, Sharp, and Sony supported Symbian had 4.1 % which is more than the 3.6% share of Windows mobile -Nokia Lumina is the only commendable windows handset released in 2012.
